"Something About Mary : a case of injustice?"
My first book is a biographical narrative about my Great-grandmother, Mary Jones Dean and her three year incarceration (1910-1913) in the Onondaga County (NY) penitentiary for contempt of court. Mary failed to give Surrogate Court (Judge Edgar Glass) a full accounting of her deceased husbands estate, insisting money from the sale of her home in Syracuse, was lost or stolen while on a Christmas shopping spree. Evidentally, the creditors wanted their money and Mary couldn't pay - or could she? You be the judge.
